Winter Reflections

As I reflect on the last 10 months, both the impact and growth we have all experienced not only in our personal lives but in our home at DanceWorks Studios, I am filled with gratitude to be here with you all reminiscing and sharing. I must first and foremost say “thank you,” for believing, trusting and continuing to support Danceworks Studios through this storm. “This too shall pass.” I have always been and will continue to be grounded, persistent, focused, determined, honest and faith-filled. It’s my personal daily reminders. I am forever proud of my students who show up weekly both in-person and virtually, to not only dance but share their laughter, love & joy with all of us at DanceWorks. The sound of children’s laughter, their sweat, smiles, frowns, ahhh if only I could see them under their masks but I will again someday soon. Their determination and resilience has truly been remarkable to witness on a daily basis.

Every student who has remained committed to their dance studies over the past 10 months has truly grown beyond anything I could have ever asked for or imagined. I have always said that we, at DanceWorks Studios, are a “family.“ We dance, love, laugh, cry, fall down, get up, support one another, embrace what is, encourage and believe that each new day provides new growth and opportunities. So many have been challenged like never before, yet we are here for one another on a daily basis. I will continue to work hard for each and every student to keep Danceworks Studios sailing through this storm. Please, know that it is because of YOU, those who have remained with us sailing along side, that our foundation remains. Many have jumped ship but as great as their absence is missed, my heart, mind, body and soul are refueled daily with each and every child that enters the studio. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I look forward to sailing into 2021 with a refreshed & renewed vision- hopefully calmer waters and a bit less stormy. I’m excited to sail with you all and most importantly with our phenomenal students- they keep my heart not only beating but happy from the inside out. It is truly a blessing to me on a daily basis to share all that we share through the art of dance. My wish for you all is a healthy, love filled, joy filled, abundantly blessed 2021! Dance will continue to move us forward together as one. Let’s to this- bring on 2021! Dance on!

With love, gratitude & dance. XOXOXO, Kathy
