Secret's Out! ✨

We’re beyond excited to finally share some amazing news: DanceWorks Studios and Kathy Costa McKeown were chosen to be part of a Lionsgate major motion picture!

The film is The Housemaid, directed by Paul Feig and starring Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, and an incredible cast.

From the moment the crew arrived, the energy in our studio was electric. DanceWorks was transformed into a bustling movie set, filled with cast, crew, lights, cameras, and creativity. That alone was an unforgettable experience!

But there’s more… Kathy herself was asked to step into the role of the dance teacher in the film!

Surrounded by a talented group of young performers cast as dancers, she spent the day working with the children and guiding them through their scenes. For Kathy, combining her lifelong passion for teaching dance with this once-in-a-lifetime film opportunity was truly a dream come true.

The movie hits theatres on December 19, 2025 — mark your calendars! 🍿
